Palazzo Barberini
Right at the center of the Eternal city, located Palazzo Barberini. A family that at the beginning of the way had a Three Horse-flies as the Coat of Arm, switched it into Three Bees. In the 17th century, Maffeo Barberini was elected as a Pope, named Urban VIII, who was a very important patron of arts and of Bernini in particular.
In the wonderful Baroque palace we shall examine the great art collection which includes also works by Caravaggio and his followers.
